What You Will Do

• Manage BI solution development and implementation for various MI reporting (Power BI).  
• Deliver actionable insights with business from the data-driven approach.  
• Perform advanced analysis using statistical techniques & algorithms to facilitate effective targeting, segmentation, and identification of opportunities around cross-sell / up-sell, retention and marketing program optimization. 
• Ability to perform the big data analytics processes on massive data sets from different data sources: explanatory and targeted data analyses, generate and test working hypotheses, analyze historical data and identify features & signals. 
• Deploy analytics capabilities ranging from organization BI to advanced models to improve ongoing insight generation process and the application of such in a business-relevant way.  
• Support digital data cleansing based on the business requirement. 
• Support UAT on digital journey tracking.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Project experience in the data analytics field.  
• Major in quantitative related subjects (e.g. Statistics, Maths, Engineering, Digital Marketing. Ecommerce, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, etc.)  
• Knowledge of predictive modeling, big data analysis, sensitivity analysis, propensity modeling, or segmentation. 
• Must have proficiency in scripting/programming languages in Python and SQL. 
• Have experience with Cloud solutions such as Azure and AWS is a plus. 
• Have experience with Google Analytics is a plus.  
• Previous exposure to / knowledge of the insurance industry will be an asset.  
• Proactive and with a can-do attitude.  
• Good command of English, Cantonese / Mandarin.

Remark:  
 
Interns will have the chance to collaborate with the Data & Analytics CoE's various sub-teams, such as the Data Science Team, Project Management Team, and Data Management and Governance Team, allowing them to gain experience in diverse tasks and projects.
