Established in 1945, GBA Consulting Engineers are an engineering consultancy that provides services including Engineering, Survey, Building Consultancy, Cultural Heritage & Environmental, Design and Project Management across central and western Queensland.

What you’ll need to be successful 

We are looking for committed minds who want to 'Engineer the Outback'. To be considered for our program, you will need-

• A real interest in the work we do and the desire to work in remote parts of Queensland.
• Genuine passion to work in the civil engineering industry and help create a lasting impact in the communities we serve.
• Thirst for adventure, mobility, flexibility and the desire to work on projects locally and regionally.
• Commitment to building the infrastructure the Queensland outback needs to continue grow and develop a strong sustainable future.
• A four-year Washington Accord accredited, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree – or equivalent which is assessed and accepted by Engineers Australia.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Strong Communication Skills
• No prior full-time work experience required, although internship and undergraduate experience is highly desirable.
• Full completion of undergraduate-level study within the last 3 years (2022 – 2025)
