They deliver high-end architectural and bespoke residential and commercial projects and work closely with the architects of contemporary house designs to bring life to their vision.

Job Description – Junior Estimator
In this Junior Estimator role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the estimating senior estimators and directors with the preparation and submission of project tenders.

This will include assisting in creating accurate tender documentation using tools and helping with the procurement of quotes.

Job Responsibilities – Junior Estimator
In this junior estimator role, you can expect the following tasks, but not limited to:

  • Review project documentation to support pricing and tendering
  • Assist with quantity take-offs
  • Help request and compile quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Conduct site visits with senior staff
  • Support the preparation of tender and budget submissions
  • Assist in updating and maintaining estimation software and rate databases
  • Help create and issue Purchase Orders and subcontract documentation
  • Maintain organised records of estimates, quotes, and supplier information

This is a developmental role intended to prepare you for a career as an Estimator. Training and mentoring will be provided in the role.

Job requirements – Junior Estimator

  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings and plans
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with Estimation Software is a plus
  • An analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
  • Great communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong desire to learn and build a career in construction
