2026 Kmart Graduate Program - Inventory

Brighter futures start here!

By joining the Kmart and Target Graduate Program, you’ll be joining an iconic Australian business that touches the lives of almost 2 million customers every week and focuses on making everyday living brighter for all. To ensure we can continue to provide great value products at the best prices, we need curious, innovative, and driven graduates to grow their careers with us and be open to a world of opportunity!

Inventory Grad Role = Big Impact.
As an Inventory Graduate, you’ll help make sure the right products land in the right stores at the right time (and in the right amount). You’ll work at the heart of the business—balancing supply and demand, keeping shelves stocked, and making sure our customers find what they need, when they need it.

Why it’s exciting:
We’re transforming how we manage inventory—using smart data, predictive tools, and analytics to spot trends, reduce waste, and boost sales. From planning product flow to mastering fulfilment strategies, you’ll be solving real challenges every day, making a real impact.

Your launchpad to more
A career in Inventory is more than just numbers—it’s a springboard into endless opportunities across Kmart & Target Australia. Whether you grow into planning, analytics, operations, or leadership, you’ll be set up for long-term success in a business that invests in your potential.

Curious? Driven? A problem-solver?
Then this is your moment. Let’s shape the future of retail—together.

About the program
Starting in February 2026, our 2-year program includes 3-4 rotations within the Inventory function, with a permanent placement upon successful completion. During the program, you'll engage in practical and meaningful work that impacts our customers and allows you to grow your career through a personalised learning program. You'll be fully supported along this journey, working alongside and learning from industry experts.
