Our Company has facilities and sales offices across Australia and New Zealand, where we employ over 2,000 people and 15,000 people globally. Our Company had its humble beginnings as a one-man farming operation, founded in 1929 by the energetic J.R. Simplot. The Simplot story in Australia began in 1995 when the J.R. Simplot Company expanded into the country, acquiring iconic brands like Birds Eye, John West, Leggo's, Chiko and Edgell.
As a business, we pride ourselves on building long term relationships with Australian farmers and other business partners across our supply chain, investing in our people, and building mutually beneficial relationships with our customers.
Our Graduate Program
Each graduate will have the opportunity to experience four rotations throughout our business, each with a six-month duration.

Our graduate program has been designed with the objective of giving you broad exposure to our business. You will work with a diverse group of talented and experienced people as well as gain exposure to our valued customers. You will be supported and developed by a manager, mentor and buddy and the training you receive is a combination of both group and self-paced development.
We believe that experience and perspective should be gained in a multitude of ways. From professional development courses and leadership models to real world experience in the field with our stakeholders - Restaurant owners, store managers, growers in our field, logistics experts and exploring a variety of roles throughout the company that bring us together globally as “One Simplot”. Our aim is to give you a breadth of experience to understand the business and our passion for “Feeding Our World”.
Engineering
We are the heartbeat of our organisation and are passionate about meeting the ever-changing needs of our customers.
This role will be based at any of our manufacturing sites, Echuca in Victoria, Bathurst and Kelso in NSW, Devonport and Ulverstone in Tasmania, or at our headquarters in Mentone, Melbourne.
You will complete several rotations within our broad division, this may include gaining exposure to Agriculture, Automation, Continuous Improvement, Engineering, Environment, Logistics, Planning, Procurement, Production, Quality, Reliability, Supply Chain Finance or Sustainability. Your placements will see you working across several of our regional sites.
You will also gain valuable insights through a rotation into a different business area, cross-divisional projects and training programs.
