2025 Engineering Internship - Physics

The Programme

This position will be responsible for project management that results in the timely execution of actions that resolve issues.

This individual will be exposed to significant projects that include the automation, installation and maintenance of semiconductor tools and equipment. 

Intern Roles:

  • Equipment Engineering Intern - Maintains, enhances, and installs advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Process Engineering Intern - Drives process improvements, data analysis and gaining a deeper knowledge of a specific process.
  • Product Engineering Intern - Resolves application issues designing, debugging, and correlating test hardware and software.
  • Facilities Engineering Intern - Supports and evaluates operational and site conditions at a TI facility.
  • Quality Engineering Intern - Analyzes control data and conformance of manufactured units.
  • Packaging Engineering Intern - Develops internal and external solutions for semiconductor packaging technologies.
  • Manufacturing Supervisor Intern - Supervises the Operators and implements activities to meet production goals, quality and objectives.
  • Production Planning Intern - Develops detailed production schedules based on planned orders, forecasts, and inventory levels while closely working with manufacturing teams to ensure necessary resources and materials are available to meet production goals. 

What You Will Do

  • Supporting teams in addressing manufacturing engineering projects. 
  • Providing progress reports on tools, processes and goals. 
  • Identifying and managing priorities. 
  • Planning across various groups and building collaborative relationships.
  • Understanding customer demands and the impact of actions. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics or related engineering degree.
  • Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA, or higher.

  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly ramp up new systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results.
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.
