Our telecom network equipment, IT products and solutions, and smart devices are used in 170 countries and regions, serving one third of the world's population.

Globalization

We have set up 16 R&D centers in countries such as Germany, Sweden, the US, India, Russia, Japan, Canada, Turkey, and China. We have also established 117 representative offices covering Asia, Europe, Africa, South America, North America, and Oceania. R&D employees comprise 45% of our total global workforce. Our employees comprise over 160 nationalities from 156 countries and regions, creating a very diverse workforce. In overseas regions, our localization rate is 75%.

Working Environment

Huawei started building the Shenzhen Campus in 1998 and completed construction in 2004. Covering an area of 2 km2, which is equivalent to 280 soccer pitches, Shenzhen Campus has eight different sections, including Section A (administration HQ), Section F (R&D), Section G (manufacturing), and Section J (training).

Covering an area of 1.4 km2, Songshan Lake Campus is located on the shores of Songshan Lake. With a fresh-water lake area of 8 km2 and a green site of 14 km2, Songshan Lake possesses abundant natural resources, a high ratio of plantation coverage, and a green land system capable of absorbing a large quantity of greenhouse gases. The green campus provides a working environment that is at one with nature. When walking through the European-style buildings in the 12 sections, you may feel you are on holiday in Europe!

Huawei has set up 16 R&D centers and 117 representative offices worldwide. Its R&D centers are located across the world, including Beijing, Shanghai, the US, and Sweden, with each specializing in different domains.

Huawei has defined 14 job categories from which you can freely choose the most suitable. Employees can transfer across job categories when meeting related requirements. In addition, the internal talent market supports free flow of talent.
